Jazz by the sea op zaterdag 19 september.




Afgelopen zaterdagmiddag waren we uitgenodigd in kwartetvorm op het Jazz by the sea in Domburg-Meliskerke.


We speelden in de tuin van het zijdemuseum , het was tropisch weer en er was redelijk wat belangstelling.


Django-musettes van half 2 tot 4.


Frank en Berna waren ook van de partij, samen met Marc en ikke.


Nadien hebben we Domburg nog aangedaan , waar het ook heel druk was.Met veel bands en goede muziek.

Hoofdinstrument accordeon, spelend sinds mijn zesde. Daarnaast saxofoon,sopraan en tenor, spelend vanaf de leeftijd van 24. Ik ben begonnen eind jaren 70, te musiceren in hot club groepen ,zoals, Continental Sheiks, Anouman.Door de geografische ligging van mijn geboortestreek was dit overwegend met Vlaamse muzikanten en in Vlaanderen. Tegenwoordig voel ik me aangetrokken tot de muziek van Richard Galliano en tango van Piazzolla. Eveneens speel ik Braziliaanse muziek, zoals samba en bossa-nova. Main-instrument was and is the accordion, playng from the age of six, and I started playing sax,soprano and tenor, at the age of 24. Started playing music in groups at the end of the70s, in the style of Django Reinhardt and groups like Continental Sheiks, Anouman. Due to the situation of my region,in the south of Netherlands, I played mostly with Flemish people and in Flanders. At the moment I am focussed on the music of Richard Galliano and Tango of Piazzolla. Furthermore Brazilian music ,like samba and bossa-nova.
